The Happy Talk Band - drawing influences from traditional country, early rock, substance abuse, and crippling bouts of depression, New Orleans-based Happy Talk has managed to amass a loyal following of terminally bored, borderline, suicides, fashionably dressed idiot savants, and social justice lawyers. The band's happy go lucky compositions lament the joys and pitfalls of booze, fist fighting, bank robbery, murder, religion, dope, exotic dancing, and family values.
